Arrange the stages of a written analysis in the order Feldman's method requires.

1. Name what is visible, without interpretation
2. Describe how the visible elements are organised
3. Propose what that organisation does to a viewer
4. Say whether the work succeeds at what it appears to be attempting
5. State what would have to be true for that judgement to be wrong

The fifth step is an addition to Feldman and it is the most useful one. A judgement that cannot say what would refute it is a preference wearing a suit, and naming the condition under which you would change your mind is what turns a crit into a conversation rather than a scoring.
