50 (answers within ±6 count)

Why

About 50 per cent on recent INE figures, up from under 10 per cent in the early 1980s. The change is one of the fastest in Europe, and it happened without a corresponding collapse in couple formation: what shifted was the sequence, with childbearing no longer waiting on marriage.
