Welcome to Tryals. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Tryals' website, mobile applications, services, and widgets (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.
To access certain features of our Services, including custom study libraries and voice coach tools, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your credentials confidential. You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
Tryals grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use our educational materials and features for personal learning purposes. You agree not to distribute, modify, sell, or exploit any portion of our platform, source code, or educational assets without our explicit written consent.
Certain learning resources require active paid subscriptions. By choosing a paid subscription plan, you authorize Tryals to charge the specified fee to your chosen payment method on a recurring basis. All fees are non-refundable unless stated otherwise. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time through your Account Settings.
All content on the platform, including text, graphics, interactive applets, flashcards, and software code, is the property of Tryals or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Any custom study notes, flashcards, or voice records created by you remain your property, but you grant Tryals a non-exclusive license to host and synchronize this content across your registered devices.
Parts of Tryals let you post content other people can see — comments on lessons, community posts and rooms, courses you publish, notes you share, messages, and your public profile. You are responsible for what you post, and you keep ownership of it while granting Tryals a licence to host and display it where you chose to publish it.
When posting, you agree not to: post content that is hateful, harassing, threatening, or that attacks a person or group on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation; post sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexualises a minor; impersonate another person or misrepresent who wrote something; post spam, advertising, or repeated unsolicited links; share another person’s private information; post material you have no right to share; or deliberately post answers in a way intended to spoil an exercise for others.
We may remove or hide content that breaks these rules. Some of this is automated: content is checked for prohibited terms and for spam patterns when it is posted, and content that enough people report is hidden automatically while we review it. Automated checks are deliberately narrow, and hiding is reversible.
If we hide something you posted, we will tell you what was hidden and why, and you can appeal. Appeals are read by a person. If we agree the decision was wrong, the content is restored. We keep a record of automated actions, including the original content, so that an appeal can be judged fairly.
You can report content you believe breaks these rules from the content itself. Reports about harmful content are handled separately from reports about mistakes in a lesson — both reach us, but only the first can lead to content being hidden.
Repeatedly breaking these rules may lead to your account being restricted or closed.
Tryals provides its Services "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors. Under no circumstances shall Tryals be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our platform.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any major changes by updating the "Last updated" date of these Terms. Your continued use of the platform after updates have been published constitutes your agreement to the modified Terms.
