By accessing or using Tryals ("the Platform"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the Platform. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and content creators.
Tryals is an interactive learning platform offering AI-powered courses, community features, real-time chat, flashcards, live calls, and a rewards system. The Platform is powered by Firebase services including Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, and Firebase Analytics. Features and availability may change over time at our discretion.
To access most features, you must create an account through Firebase Authentication. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it updated. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@tryals.com of any unauthorised use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Certain features of the Platform require a paid subscription or in-app purchase. All payments are processed securely through Stripe Connect, a third-party payment processor. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled prior to renewal. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers. Refunds are subject to our refund policy and applicable app store terms.
You are solely responsible for all content you create, upload, or share on the Platform, including courses, messages, and community posts. Content must not be unlawful, defamatory, harmful, obscene, or infringe any third-party intellectual property or privacy rights. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates this policy without notice and to suspend or permanently ban repeat offenders. Questions and answers you post in a public community may be published as public web pages on tryals.app and listed by search engines, with your display name and picture, once they have cleared moderation; content in a private community is never published this way, and you can switch publication off for everything you have written at Settings → Data and reminders → Community posts in search.
Tryals shows you no advertisements. We run no third-party ad network in the app or on the website, and nothing you study, write or upload is sold or handed to advertisers. We do advertise Tryals elsewhere, and if you allow ad measurement — Settings → Data and reminders → Ad measurement, which is off until you agree in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland — the Google Ads and OpenAI measurement tools tell us which of our own advertisements brought you here, and on the web they set a cookie to do it. What they receive is listed in our Privacy Policy. Should we ever show advertisements inside Tryals, these Terms and the Privacy Policy will be updated before the first one appears.
The Tryals name, logo, software, design, and all content created by us are protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of original content you create on the Platform, but by posting it you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and promote your content as part of operating the service. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute our proprietary materials without prior written permission.
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or entirely secure. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Platform, including loss of data or service interruptions.
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
