Why
911 years. The annulment is the detail that undermines the date. If a single act in 1054 had separated two churches, reversing it in 1965 would have reunited them; it did not, because what the legates and the patriarch did was a diplomatic breakdown between individuals, and the real separation was built by centuries of divergent practice and finished by an army in 1204.
